Ding dong Clap Clap Stomp Stomp HOT DOG!

After and wonderful weekend of relaxing and dog parking -

(My baby, Penny Lane, is the little one - although 46 pounds of muscle is hardly little!)

I'm so ready to give the kids something fun to do! As I was searching for new activities which is a weekly activity for me, I found this gem!! Who doesn't remember doing hand-clap games with their friends?? I grew up doing swim team every year which meant hours at the pool and weekly swim meets! - aka plenty of time for hand-clap games and friendship bracelets.

-makes me wonder if our kids in the Life Skills classrooms get taught how to play things like this... So before I rush out of my office for a full day of sessions I leave you with these words. Enjoy!

Ms. R's tips for connecting to your kids-

#1

FInd what interests your students and use that to your advantage!

#2

Give breaks! No point in everyone suffering when your student can reboot and become productive again after a break.

#3

Get on their level! If the student learns better when walking around the room, then WALK! Don't make a child conform to a standard that inhibits their learning.
