Think then answer yes or no..

If you're anything like me, you stay far away from the popular songs in elementary school that the teachers are most likely singing with their students already. "Do You Know Which Ones Will Grow?" is such a fun book to learn about living things vs. inanimate objects. The kids love turning the pages/opening each page in different directions to find out what's next. It's also a great way to learn the names for baby animals as well as working on rhyming skills. Because of the array of ways to use this book, it's a great tool to keep handy for those classes that have a wide range of functioning levels.

Hope you enjoy!

Ms. R's tips for connecting to your kids-

#1

FInd what interests your students and use that to your advantage!

#2

Give breaks! No point in everyone suffering when your student can reboot and become productive again after a break.

#3

Get on their level! If the student learns better when walking around the room, then WALK! Don't make a child conform to a standard that inhibits their learning.
